Age (as of Jan. 1): 8 years

Practices: Twice a week (schedule TBA before the season starts) at Centennial Park - Diamond 1

Games: Saturdays (schedule & location TBA before the season starts) at Centennial Park – Diamond 1  may include travel to play in Chilliwack at Sardis Sports Fields

Description:

    Base paths are set at 50 feet and pitching mound is set at 36 feet.

    Games are 4 innings in length.

    Sr. Tadpole division introduces player pitching and game structure while maintaining active player participation and fun.

    The emphasis is on the 5 FUNdamentals of baseball

•         Throwing
•         Base Running
•         Receiving
•         Hitting
•         General Knowledge

Equipment Required

•     Glove
•     Runners or cleats
•     Protective jock/jill
•     Grey baseball pants

*Helmets and bats are supplied by team but player may bring their own.  Helmets must have chin strap and bat is allowed up to 30 inch, 2 5/8 inch max diameter, unlimited length/weight drop - bats with greater than 2 ¼ in. barrel diameter must be marked “USABB” or stamped with BPF 1.15”(Bat Performance factor)
